Dearest BJ,

There are no words to adequately describe the unbelievable sadness and shock I have felt since learning of your death. Even though I know you are at peace and no longer suffering, today was incredibly hard to face. Our friendship lasted for over 40 years. We were like an open book because we could pick right back up where we had previously ended. So many, many memories and adventures we shared! You, Cheryl and I were always up to and in to something with full knowledge that we would have to endure your Mother's disapproving looks and lectures. Somehow that never seemed to deter our antics as we would just lay low until we thought we were back in her good graces, and then we were at it again! How many of her gray hairs were because of the three of us??? Christian always was and continued to be the pride and joy of your life. And he was our little boy too. He filled our days with his beautiful laughter and the sweet moments of his childhood. He is now a wonderful man of strong character who possesses so many and amazing qualities of love, honor and loyalty.  He returned his love for you as deeply and unconditionally as the love you gave to him. As always, you would have been so proud of him today. The service was beautiful and was so much the essence of you and the joy you brought to all of us who were blessed by knowing you. My sweet and dear BJ, you are now reunited with your parents whom you loved so much and are safe in God's arms and His love. I thank Him for sending Emily to Christian and for allowing you to see him find true love and his soulmate. You will live forever in my heart and as you laugh and dance with the angels, save a dance for Cheryl and me. I love you always!

I only met you once at the wedding of your amazing son and his even more amazing wife, my best friend, Emily...and even though it was brief, I know you gave to this world a special gift. I can tell through Chris what a wonderful person you were because he is an amazing, beautiful, caring, loving and giving gentleman and I am honored to call him family! I know you will always be the ever growing light that reminds him of where he comes from, who he is and where he is going. You will be greatly missed. May you walk among the angels and watch over your ever loving family. May you rest in peace Mrs. Urquhart.

Though I don't think I ever had the pleasure of meeting you in person, I know you were a wonderful person. I want to say thank you for creating such a loving,kind,big hearted,amazing son. It is through him that I know you were a blessing to everyone in your life whether you knew it or not. Your hurting is now over and you will have a wonderfully beautiful life in Heaven. Just know that we will always take care of your Angel on Earth.

My memories of Betty Jo was when we went to church together and worked in the Normandale Methodist Church daycare. I remember how humble and loving she was to each child she cared for and how spoke of Chris and how much she adored him.She will be missed by many and I am sending my Love and Hugs to the family and wish them peace and comfort that God is standing right beside them during this time of loss. Love and Hugs to you Chris and just keep holding tight to all the memories...she will never be far away..
