
Reehl, Betty Sue Waldrop, 84, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 13, 2015, at home in Montgomery, Alabama. Sue was born on December 21, 1930, in Cullman, Alabama to Thomas Oscar Waldrop and R Leavie Patterson Waldrop, both predeceasing her. Surviving Sue is her beloved husband, James William Reehl, to whom she was happily married for 64 years. Sue's brother, Charles Wert (Frances) Waldrop, from Cullman, Alabama, also survives her. James and Sue's children survive her and are: James Roger Reehl; Susan (Jim) Reehl Broderick Mallett; Starr Reehl Wilson; and Deborah Jo Burton, all from Montgomery, and William Rance (Dwaylah) Reehl of Fairhope, Alabama. Cherished surviving grandchildren are: Theresa (Kyle) Johnson; Bryan (Jackie) Broderick; Jordan (Whitney) Broderick; Lesley Wilson Traver; Caroline (Will) Boykin; and Cameron Reehl. Nine precious great-grandchildren also survive Sue. Predeceasing Sue are her Waldrop brothers: William Cranford; Thomas Garland; Paul Kenneth; Edson Duvall and James Gordon, and her sisters, Julia Cecile Waldrop Harris; Gaynell Waldrop; and Robbie Lou Waldrop Shelton Cook. Visitation for Sue will be held from 5pm-7pm Sunday, March 15, 2015, at Leak Memory Chapel. A celebration of Sue's life will be held on Monday, March 16, 2015, at Dalraida United Methodist Church, 3817 Atlanta Hwy, Montgomery, Alabama, the Reehl family church for over 55 years. Visitation will begin at 12:00pm; the service at 1:00pm; and the graveside service at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens immediately following. Guests are then invited to Dalraida Church for fellowship with the family. Pallbearers will be Matthew, Blake and Nathan Weathersby; Kenny Cook; Mike and Greg Waldrop; and Jimbo and Tommy Waldrop. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dalraida United Methodist Church Altar Guild.
