
Billie Raye Little Tucker, 59, of Pike Road passed away on Wednesday, January 8, 2014. She was born in Montgomery, AL on March 2, 1954 to Robert Eugene and Mae Etta Little. Billie graduated from Robert E. Lee High School and received a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Huntingdon College. On March 14, 1975, she was united in marriage to Dilmus Ralph Tucker in Montgomery. Billie was a beloved member of Frazer United Methodist Church. She devoted much of her time to singing in the choir and horseback riding. She was also very passionate about her Native American heritage.
Billie is preceded in death by her husband, Dilmus Ralph Tucker, her parents, Robert E. Little and Mae Etta Little, her step-son, Phillip Don Tucker. Billie is survived by her son, Ralph Eugene (Angela) Tucker, step-daughter-in-law and caregiver, Susan Renae Tucker, step-children, Susan Tucker Schwent and Ralph Scott Tucker and their children, Sisters, Jean Little and Freida Little (Lee) Warren, grandchildren, Annabelle Grace Tucker and Zachary Eugene Tucker, niece, Susan Warren (Michael) Clark, and nephews, Stephen Robert Perdue, Robert Maxwell (Susanne) Warren, Ashley Joseph Deloge.
Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel Funeral Home at 1 p.m. on Sunday. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Joe Pat Cox will be officiating. Tom Searcy will provide musical accompaniment. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Stephen Robert Perdue, Robert Maxwell Warren, Ashley Joseph Deloge, Stephen Ashley Perdue, Joey Wayne Harper and Matthew Shane Harper.
