Billy Wayne Hall

Billy Wayne was born in Opp, Alabama and moved with his family to Montgomery in 1948 where he attended Baldwin Jr. High School. While at Baldwin he met classmate Martha Helen Parker. This friendship lead to him meeting Helen's little sister and the love of his life, Dorothy Lucille Parker. They married August 1, 1953. They were married 64 years. Called into the ministry in 1965, they served with the Assemblies of God for 53 years. Ministering to churches in Brunswick, GA. for 2 years and in Tallassee, AL at the First Assembly of God for 10 years. The congregation in Tallassee was very important to him and Lucille. They have remained close to the members of the congregation still today. They were serving at Trinity Assembly of God in Montgomery for thirteen years when Bill fell ill. Church members of Trinity Assembly of God hold a special and loving place in Reverend and Sister Hall's hearts. Reverend Hall also served as a Missionary to India for 8 years going on yearly mission trips where he designed and built 51 churches.

Bill went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 24th, 2018 at 8:50 am. He is reunited in Heaven with his parents, his brother, Haywood (Don) Hall, his sisters Vivian Louise Hall Cannon, Charlotte Wynnelle Hall Chrystal and youngest son, Terry Anthony Hall. He leaves behind to continue his work of sharing the Good News, his wife Dorothy Lucille Parker Hall, his eldest son, Bobby Hall (Kathy), sister, Sherrolyn Hall Morris, Grandchildren, Parker Hall (Molly), Andrew Hall (Mary Austin) and Rachel Hall Wolnski (Joseph). Great grandchildren Anders and Rigsby Wolnski, and Ellis Hall with another precious great grandchild expected this Spring. Sisters-in-law Martha Helen Parker Greene and Norma Wimberly Parker.

He also has extended family and lifelong friends to remember him.

Paul bearers will be grandsons Parker Hall, Andrew Hall, Joseph Wolnski and nephews Charles Greene, Mark Greene and Wesley Paul Parker.

Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel,Tuesday, February 27, 2018, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm, with the Celebration of Life at 12:00 pm in the Chapel with burial to follow in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery.
