Bobby Joe Holland

Bobby was a member of Perry Hill Road Baptist Church and an avid hunter and fisherman. He also worked as a butcher at Winn Dixie for over 45 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Minnie Lee Holland and his grandson, Casey Taylor.

He is survived by his loving spouse of 54 years, Linda Kay Holland; his children, Brandon (Dana) Holland, Shannon (Jamie) Judge, and Steve (Jill) Taylor; his grandchildren, Shawn Holland, Joseph (Julie) Brown, Kacey Judge, Austin (Makayla) Knight, and Kyle Taylor; his great-grandchildren, Mattie Knight and Mason Knight; and his siblings, Debbie (Donny) Crew, Kathy (Richard) Law, and Wesley Holland, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his best “buddy”, Marvin.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Judge, Shawn Holland, Joseph Brown, Austin Knight, Derek Crew, and Jacob Trawick.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Perry Hill Road Baptist Church, 3909 Vista Circle, Montgomery, AL 36109.

The family would like to give special thanks to Nedra and Linda of Hospice of Montgomery for all their help.

A visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a Celebration of Life chapel service at 11:00 AM.
