In her early life, Burcha was born in Mississippi. She was married for many years to William Penn Sr. Burcha cherished spending time with her family, and she was a devoted member of her church. She found joy in reading her Bible and had a passion for cooking.
Burcha leaves behind a family who will miss her dearly: her son William and his wife Mona Penn Jr., her daughter Sheree, her grandson Jeremy, and her four great-grandsons Jaxon, Jace, Jacob, and Joe.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, located at 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, on October 27, 2025, at 2:00 pm.
