David Reeves, born September 10, 1951, went to be with the Lord God Almighty on Wednesday, February 4, 2015. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 9, 2015 at 10:00AM at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 11:00AM. Burial will be at Rutledge Cemetery following the service. David was preceded in death by his parents, Willie Reeves and Mary Reeves Hines, and baby daughter, Linda Fay Reeves. He is survived by two children, David Reeves, Jr. and Mary Reeves; five grandchildren, McKayla, David Joseph “D.J.”, Rosamond (Charly), John David, Michael; six great grandchildren; brother, J.C. Reeves (Peggy) of Prattville; two sisters, Linda Reeves Durrance (Jerrell) of Eclectic, Marie Dorman (James) of Montgomery; his longtime girlfriend and love, Sandra and her son Keith Lamberth (Tabitha); all his nieces and nephews and cousins that he truly loved with all his heart. Pallbearers will be J.C. Reeves, D.J. Reeves, Kenney Reeves, DeRand Reeves, Robert Reeves, and Kevin Walker. The family would like to thank all the doctors and wonderful nurses at Jackson Hospital 3-North floor. Thanks especially to Kellie, Joanne, Winnie, Theresa, Tammy, LaShondra, and Jackie.
