David Allen Tebbetts

David was born on September 16, 1958, in Montgomery, Alabama, to the late Roy and Agnes Tebbetts. He dedicated many years of his life to helping others secure their financial futures as a longtime Financial Advisor with Primerica Financial Services.

A man of passion and enthusiasm, David was an avid Auburn Tigers fan who always cheered loudly for his team. He found joy and relaxation outdoors, whether hunting or simply playing sports with friends and family.

Above all, David was devoted to his family, and he treasured every moment spent with them.

David is survived by his wife, Vicki Tebbetts. He was a proud and loving father to his sons, Zach Tebbetts (wife Brandy) and Josh Tebbetts, and his stepchildren, Brandi Bates, Robbie Bates (wife Stephanie), Brett Bates, and Haylee Speaks.

He was also a devoted grandfather to Austin Files (wife Baylee), Camden Files, Sianna Davis, Payton Bates, Reilyn Bates, Colton Speaks, and Tatum Anne Speaks. He also leaves behind his loving dog, Monique.

He will be dearly missed by his siblings, Kenny Tebbetts (wife Shawn), Pam Davis (husband Les), and Lisa Smith (husband Keith).

David was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Agnes Tebbetts.

Service Information

David’s service will be officiated by his brother-in-Law, Les Davis.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30, 2025, from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed immediately by the funeral service at 2:00 PM. Both visitation and service will take place at Leak Memory Chapel at 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Montgomery Christian School, 6610 Vaughn Rd, Montgomery, Alabama, 36116.
