BECK, Doris H., 79, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Saturday, August 13, 2011. She was preceded in death by her husband, Waverly Beck. She is survived by one sister, Shirley Arbaugh, Montgomery, AL; a goddaughter, Johnnie Mae Walden, ,Highland Home, AL; nephew, Richard Waldon; a longtime friend, Doug McCord, Hope Hull, AL; a host of other nieces, nephews, family and friends. Pallbearers will be Gene Paulk, Wally Paulk, Earl Walden, Warren Walden, Carl Acreman, Ty Majors. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Magnolia Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 16, 2011 with Rev. Chuck Francisco and Rev. Howard Kirkland officiating. The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Memorials can be made in her honor to Magnolia Baptist Church.
