Doris "Dot" Seale

Doris (Dot) Godfrey Seale, 93, left her earthly body in the early morning hours of January 25. She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Worthy J. Seale, Jr., brothers, Willie B. Godfrey, Leonard Godfrey, James Godfrey and a sister, Sara Letlow. She leaves behind to cherish her memory sons, Jim (Carol), Randy (Connie); grandchildren, Brian (Stephanie), Melinda Simmons (David), Jason (Allison), Manley (Rebekka), Graham; great grandchildren, Joy, Emily, Baileigh, Conner, Annalee, Ethan and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Dot was a member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church and was very fond of her church family. She was devoted Christian mother and wife whose life was an inspiration for all who new her. Humble in spirit, caring, quick-witted and a devout follower of Jesus Christ, she will be missed by all those who knew her and loved her. Funeral services will be Wednesday, January 29 at 11am at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Tom Smith and Dr. Dale Huff officiating. The family will receive visitors for 5pm to 7pm Tuesday, January 28 as well as one hour before the service on Wednesday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Lottie Moon International Mission fund at Ridgecrest Baptist Church.
