Dorothy Brooks Newman Logan, 81, a resident of Montgomery, AL for 77 years went to be with our Lord on June 11, 2013 in the comfort of her daughter’s home after an extended illness in Autaugaville, AL. She is preceded in death by her husband of 24 years, William P. Newman and also her husband of 37 years, John T. Logan. Survivors include one daughter, Sheila (Jimmy) Sievers; sons, Ricky (Laurie) Newman, Justin (Ann) Logan and Tony Logan; four grandchildren, Marie & Leigh Westerman, Billy Newman, and Amanda Aguilar; six great-grandchildren, Bradley, Brittany, Jason, Brandon, Lidia, & McKenzie; and a host of relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, June 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM from Leak-Memory Chapel with Rev. Winston Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, from 5:00-7:00 PM at the funeral home. A special thank you Hospice of Montgomery and her daughter-in-law, Ann Logan.
