Dorothy Lucile Warmack

Warmack, Dorothy Lucile Giddens went to be with the Lord on May 22, 2012. Dot was born on May 28, 1929, in Fayetteville (Talladega Co.), Alabama. She was a retired educator, having taught school for more than 25 years, and a member of the University church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, James Olin Warmack, her parents Arles and Sarah Giddens, four brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by two daughters, Wanda L. Warmack and Cynthia W. Spangler and son-in-law Larry Spangler all of Montgomery. She also leaves behind a special “son” Dave Sugg, her beloved caregiver Victor Glover, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 29, 2012 at Leak Memory from 5 until 7 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 30th at 10:00 a.m. at University church of Christ followed by a 3:30 p.m. graveside service at Hillcrest Cemetery in Munford, Alabama.
