Being the son of a United Methodist preacher necessitated moving often throughout his childhood and adolescence. He always liked the adventure of going to new places and meeting new friends. He continued his history of relocating in his adult life, making many new friends along the way. He enjoyed a long career in real estate and mortgage financing and was very knowledgeable in his field. He was a charter member of the Gautier, MS Rotary Club and a member of the Gautier Jaycees. He had a lifelong love of fishing and SEC football, especially the Crimson Tide of Alabama. His favorite location was Destin, Florida, living and working there several times, as well as numerous vacations throughout the years. He loved cars, especially convertibles, and was fond of riding the scenic routes along the Mississippi to Florida coast. Another passion was cooking, creating many great meals for family and friends. He loved having crowds of friends and family around. He was generous and loved being with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
Many thanks to the staff of caretakers at Eastern Shore Rehabilitation Center and Dr. Randall Hall, his physician for several years.
