Emma Lou Bishop

Bishop, Emma Lou Jordan, a long time resident of Montgomery, Alabama passed away Friday, March 30, 2012 at her home. She was born to Emmett and Reathie Jordan of Flea Hop and Eclectic, Alabama. Mrs. Bishop has been a very active member of First Baptist Church for many years, having served on numerous committies, including the Stewardship committee and the outreach ministry up until her illness and death. She is survived by her dear husband, Matthew Borum Bishop, Jr., her daughter, Susanne Bishop of St.Louis, Missouri and son, Matt Bishop of Montgomery, Alabama; a sister, Gwen (Wayne) McGriff of Montgomery, AL; a brother, Kyle (Alice) Jordan of Seattle, Washington, several nieces, nephews and great nieces,nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 2, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel with Drs. Jay Wolf and Al Parks officitaing. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services. Memorials can be made to First Baptist Church, 305 S.
