Minnie Estelle Brasington Smith, 92, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on Sunday, March 7, 2021. She was born in Montgomery and lived her entire life here as a dedicated wife and mother. She was an excellent cook and enjoyed gardening. Estelle was a loving homemaker who cherished her family, especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Robert Smith, Sr.; her parents, Robert & Minnie Brasington; three brothers; and three sisters. Survivors include her son, Robert Smith, Jr. (Marion); daughter Nancy Smith Davis (Harry); grandchildren, Brian Robert Smith (Amanda), Jennifer Smith Reynolds (Art), Ashley Davis Clines (Josh); six great grandchildren, Sawyer, Shepard, Reid, Isabella, Destiny, and Jasper.
Graveside service will be on Friday, March 12, 2021 at 2:00pm at Montgomery Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to your favorite charity.
