Fenter D. Northern, age 96, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, June 25, 2025. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Mattie Mae Ballard Northern; his first wife, Nell Robinson Northern; his second wife, Sue Womack Northern; his son, John Dee Northern; his brother, Thomas Northern; his sisters, Kathleen Wilson, Johnnie McCormick, Esther Callens, Bernie Owens, and Willene Northern; and his grandson, Gabriel Cooper. He is survived by his daughter Susan Pritchett (Ronnie); his great grandson, Braden Cooper; his special friend, Joan Kirkland; and many nieces and nephews.
Fenter was born in Holland, Missouri. He was a Professor of Bible at Faulkner University and a prior Dean at Magnolia Bible College in Kosciusko, MS. A member of University Church of Christ, he will be remembered as a delightful bible teacher, full of information and energy. Fenter was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.

A friends and family visitation for Fenter will be held Sunday, June 29, 2025 at 1:00 PM at University Church of Christ, 5315 Atlanta Hwy., Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a celebration of life service at 2:00 PM.
