85, a lifelong resident of Montgomery, Al. passed away at
his home on Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Mr. Carlisle was
preceded in death by his parents, Maggie Williamson Carlisle
and his father Mark Sydney Carlisle, one sister ErmaDell
Carlisle Sexton. He is survived by one brother, Dr. Ernest
Carlisle (MarySue) of Columbus Georgia and five nephews. Mr
Carlisle was an active member of Beacon Hope Church of God.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired in 2004
from the Victorian Furniture Company in Montgomery, Al.
Services will be conducted by Randy Newman, pastor of Beacon
Hope Church of God on Friday, August 30, 2013 at 11:00 at
Leak Memory Chapel, Lincoln Rd. Montgomery, Al. The
family will receive visitors one hour prior to the
service. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
