Frances Sherman “Bebe” Guy, age 93, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, February 4th, 2022. Bebe, as she was affectionately known to all, was an avid reader and Alabama Crimson Tide football fan. After a long career at the Retirement Systems of Alabama, she and her devoted husband, Renzo Meade Guy, enjoyed participating in events held by their camping and golfing clubs, traveling throughout the state and southeast. For many years they could be found attending Alabama football home and bowl games.
In addition to her husband of 74 years, Bebe is survived by sons Robert Meade Guy of Pintlala, Joseph Sherman Guy (Kathleen Cody Guy) of Atlanta, GA and her grandson Duncan Maxwell Guy, an engineering student at Georgia Institute of Technology.
A graveside service for Frances will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. No visitation will be held.
