G. Michael Sims, 63, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on September, 2, 2012, after a long battle with heart and kidney disease. He is survived by his wife, Stacey (Tyler) Sims, and four children, Summer Rain Pierce, Jeff(Stephanie) Allen, Cindy (Brian) Patterson, and Jennifer (Andy) Ward. He had four grandchildren, Anna Grace Allen, Emma Grace and Noah Charles Patterson, and Brady Pierce Ward, father and mother, Coolidge and Ethel Sims, one brother, Danny (Leigh) Sims, niece, Lucy Sims, nephew, Dan Sims, brother and sister in law, Tom and Pam Dailey, father and mother in law, Fred and Ann Kreps,II, many friends and business associates, his beloved pets, Bubbles, Macy, Blossom(Kiki), Bootsie Boy, and Yellow. The family wishes that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the American Heart Association, or the Kidney Foundation. A memorial service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, September, 5, 2012. The family will receive visitors at 10:00 a.m. and services will begin at 11:00 a.m.
