Gene Wells

Harry Eugene Wells went home to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. He is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Lubie Wells and a sister, Theresa Dean.Survived by his loving wife of 62 years Ann D. Wells, and two children, Wanda (Mike) Ellis and Howard (Jill) Wells. Gene was blessed with 5 granddaughters, Amanda (Carl) Allen, Sarah Ellis, Gracie, Claire and Aubrie Wells and 1 great-granddaughter, Kinsley Allen. His Brother, Irvin (Jackie) Wells and Sister, Patsy Philpot along with a multitude of nieces and nephews, and his faithful companion, Harry Winston.

As an owner of Wells Printing Company, Gene loved and was loved by many past and present employees, considering all of them his family members.

Honorary Pallbearers will be the employees of Wells Printing Co. His nephews Sidney, Larry, Benjamin, Eugene, B.J., Warren, Jimmy and Chris will serve as active Pallbearers.Visitation will be at 1 p.m. Friday 20,2015 followed by Services provided by Leak Memory Chapel at 2 p.m. officiated by Rev. Larry Armstrong, of Eastern Hills Baptist Church, where Gene was a Charter Member. Graveside to follow at Montgomery Memorial Cemetary located near the original Wells Printing location.
