Priddy, George M., resident of Montgomery passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2012. Mr. Priddy was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Jo Helen Priddy, four sisters and two brothers. He is survived by his son, Bill (Janice) of Lenoir City, TN; granddaughter, Tracy Priddy of Knoxville, TN and numerous nieces and nephews. Mr. Priddy was a deacon in the Baptist Church since 1955 and served in that capacity among other things at Dalraida and Eastern Hills Baptist Churches. He retired from Western Electric Co. in 1975 after 39 years of service. During W.W.II he served in the Navy seeing significant action in the South Pacific. Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Friday, October 19, 2012 at 5:00 p.m. with Reverend Rick Marshall officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.
