BARTGIS, Greeda Helen Durst, 88, passed away at her residence in Mathews, Alabama, on Thursday, June 18, 2015. Preceded in death by her husband, John H. Bartgis, Jr., and a grandson, Mason Bartgis, she is survived by her son, Tim Bartgis (Patti); grandsons, Joey (Jennifer), Corbin (Ashley), Mathew, and Joshua Bartgis; granddaughter, Mary Katherine Carlisle (David); great-grandchildren, Tanner and Tate Bartgis; a sister, Patricia Foster, and a brother, Fred Durst. Her Visitation will be held on Monday, June 22, 2015, at 1:30 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by her Funeral Service at 2:30 PM, with Rev. Don Moore officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. A member of First Southern Baptist Church in Evansville, Indiana, she will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
