Harry Wallace Garland, Jr.

Harry Wallace Garland Jr., 64, passed away on April 19, 2021. He was born in Hammond, Indiana to Harry "Hank" Garland Sr. and Bobbie Jewel Curtis. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Robin Gean Garland of Hope Hull, AL and Melissa Garland Peak of Montgomery, AL as well as his parents formerly of Cadiz, KY. Harry leaves behind his siblings: Chris (Sharon) Garland of Broken Arrow, OK and Craig (Lenora) Garland of Poquoson, VA. He was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Scott Garland, of Cadiz, KY. He was working for the Montgomery Military Entrance Processing Station-Naval Branch as a civilian but retired after 20+ years with the Navy. He enjoyed fishing and riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. Harry also worked with Habitat for Humanity which reflected his heart for helping people. A visitation is set for Tuesday, April 27, 2021 at 11:00 am at Leak Memory Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life service at 12:00 pm. Services will conclude with a committal at 2:45 pm in Alabama National Cemetery, 3313 Hwy. 119, Montevallo, AL.
