Harvey Gene Wade, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on December 23, 2025, at the age of 89. Born on January 25, 1936, Harvey led a life marked by dedication, service, and love for his family.
Harvey moved to the Montgomery area from Louisiana in 1970. His career included notable achievements in the Louisiana National Guard, where he attained the rank of E4 and received an honorable discharge. Harvey was also a respected member of the Masonic Lodge-84 and served as Past master of the Lodge of the Alcazar Shrine.
In 1967, Harvey married Juanita Wade, and together they shared 58 years of marriage. He is survived by his beloved wife Juanita, their son Marcus Wade, and daughter Gina Wade Dillon. Harvey's legacy also includes his cherished grandchildren: Erin Wade, Kayl Wade, Ryan Wade, Jake Dillon, Zach Dillon, and Roan Wade.
Professionally, Harvey was a truck driver for over 40 years, and he was known for his passion for motorcycle riding. In his leisure time, he enjoyed watching old westerns and taking rides through the countryside.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during the visitation at White Chapel-Greenwood on December 30, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. A Celebration of Life Chapel Service will follow at 2:00 pm at the same venue.
