Hazel Lee

Hazel Jeannette Lee age 87, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, March 18, 2025. Born to Zell & Willie Stringfellow on April 5, 1937, where she grew into adulthood and then moved to Montgomery Alabama in 1956. She continued her education at Massey Draughon Business School and then met the love of her life and raised their children.

She worked with her spouse for many years at their business as a bookkeeper and then went to work at Evangel Temple from 1989-2010 and became the "Voice of ET" answering the phone. She enjoyed traveling, ceramic classes, helping others when needed and spending time with family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Zell & Willie Stringfellow, spouse Oscar Lee, son Christopher B. Lee and brothers Raymond and Cecil Stringfellow. Hazel is survived by her children Jerry Lee of Montgomery, Al, Cynthia (Ronald) Wooten of Highland Home, AL, Crystal (Robert) Shippey of Elmore, Al, Tiffany (Jason) Sorensen of Autaugaville, Al, Christopher (Mylena) Lee of Port Saint Lucie, FL, Ryan (Melanie) Wooten of Highland Home, AL, Taylor Lee. Very Special Companion Luna. Sister Shirley Campbell of Pace, FL and Brother Marion "Buddy" (Arrie Bell) Stringfellow of Warren Robins, Georgia, 14 Great Grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild

We are especially grateful to the staff of Enhabit Hospice of Greenville and Crown Nursing Home of Greenville as well as her caregivers that took care of her.

A family and freinds visitation for Hazel will be held Tuesday, March 25, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. A a celebration of life chapel service will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 2:00 PM, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. A graveside committal service will occur Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at Greenwood Cemetery.
