Chuck Jr. And I went to Ontario  on a bear hunting trip with his dad. It was one of the most memorable times of my life.  Chuck and his son Chuck Jr. We're some of the greatest  Christian's I ever met. Miss both of them so much. Look forward to the great reunion in heaven.

I first met Chuck Jr., his mom, Lenora, sister Tracy and brother Gary when I was stationed at Hill AFB, UT, 1970-72.  My Pastor, Hal Mason and I made a visitation call on their family and we had a wonderful visit with them and an opportunity to share the Word with them.
I still remember, at one point in our Discussion when Chuck Jr. asked me about how you can know that you are saved.   I shared this passage with him and his family:   “These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”

Pastor Hal shared other scriptures with the family and we eventually had the joy of seeing this wonder family come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.  Chuck Sr, a Marine Officer, returned from combat service in Vietnam and through his wife’s witness, also came to know the Lord and gave his life in service to Him.  Over the years, we lost contact with the Cofty family, but have fond memories of them.  I was sad to hear of Chuck Jr’s being called home so soon, but am comforted because I know he is rejoicing with our Savior.   Would love to reconnect if anyone in the family sees this post.

Chuck jr. and I went on two trips together. Canada and Bolivia S A.  His dad Chuck Sr. Is my best friend.

We are just now learning of Chuck's passing and so sorry to hear he is gone. We have fond memories when we were at Calvary Baptist together. Chuck and Sarah were instrumental in bringing my husband and I together. We had some double dates together. I remember Chuck tying a knot in a cherry stem with his tongue. I also remember him taking his knife to cut a tread off my dress (strange memory but who else is that thoughtful?) Chuck was the best man in our wedding. I will have to find a few of the pictures and post them. Thank you for sharing all those wonderful pictures. I really enjoyed seeing them! The last time we visited Chuck, it was just Chuck and Sarah and no children. What a beautiful family! God bless you all. 

I am so sorry to learn of Mr. Cofty's death.  I was trying to find him to come help me with a tree, having used him in the past,  and learned of his death.   He was such a nice man and upbeat person...My sympathies are with you all.   Ann Stewart
