Jacquline (Jackie) was born on January 24, 1941 to Wiley Henry Ridley and Unice Verna Ridley Whitlow.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband of 49 years: Thomas Meredith Hancock, infant son:
John Thomas Hancock, siblings: Larry Gordon Ridley, Phillip Wayne Ridley, Dorothy Ann Ridley Newton,
Evelyn Jean Whitlow, Brothers-in-law: Mike Jones and Larry Lacy, a very special Uncle, Aunt, and Cousin:
John Lauderdale, Christine Lauderdale Irvin, Silvia Mizick (Roger).
She is survived by her three children: Ken Hancock, Kim Bonin (Darren), Kris Redferin (Bobby),
Grandchildren: AJ Howard, Taylor Howard, Karson Jenkins (Sloan), Kyle Redferin (Morgan), Sophye
Spencer (Dillon), Kenzi Johnson (Jace), Great grandchildren: Charlie, Aubrie and Mason Spencer, Elise
and Elisha Redferin, Clayton Jenkins, and Tate Johnson. She is also survived by her siblings: Wylene
Jones, Kenneth Ridley, Sue Lacy, Charles Ridley (Gladys), Judy Ridley, Sister-in-law: Diane Ridley, Brother-in-law: Eddie Newton, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services for Mrs. Hancock include a visitation at Leak Memorial Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery,
Al, 36109 Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM and a graveside at 2:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to Hill Spring Baptist Church at 335 Eliza Jordan Road North, Mobile, Al 36695 for Samaritan's Purse to provide dairy goats to families, offering them a sustainable source of income and nourishment. This is a ministry that was very near and dear to Mrs. Jackie's heart.
