HOLLON, James C., 95, a Montgomery resident, died Tuesday, September 19, 2017. Visitation will be held Monday, September 25, 2017, at 1 PM, at Leak Memory Chapel, followed by his Funeral Service at 2 PM, with Dr. Lester Spencer officiating, and burial to follow in Oakwood Annex Cemetery. He was preceded in death by his wife of 73 years, Bessie Leigh Hollon; his parents, Kirby and Mattie Pearl Hollon; a sister, Vera Williams; & three brothers, Benny, Ardith, and Alfred Hollon. Survivors include a daughter, Cheryl Hord; son-in-law, Thomas Hord; granddaughter, Brittany Hord; sisters, Carolyn Hollon Straughn & Inez Jackson; & a brother, Ernest K. Hollon (Evelyn). A loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, Mr. Hollon was a member of St. James United Methodist Church, and was a WWII D-Day Veteran.
