James Shafton Kohn

Kohn, James Shafton “Jimmy”, age 52 of Pine Level passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2013. He was preceded in death by his father, James Kohn. Mr. Kohn is survived by his wife of 29 years, Valeria Bozeman Kohn; son, Brent ( Abbi) Kohn, daughter, Lanaye Kohn; mother, Helen Witherington Kohn; sisters, Shirley (Mac) Walker, Rhonda (Bill) Mount. Jimmy was very well known and liked by many in the Pine Level Community. He followed in his father’s footsteps sharing his passion for cars and continued to run the family business until the day of his death. He and Valeria shared 29 years happily together and raised two children whom he loved dearly. Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Thursday, June 6, 2013 at 3:00 pm with Reverend John Posey officiating. Burial will follow in Pine Level Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Wednesday, June 5, 2013 from 5:00 until 7:00. Serving as pallbearers will be, Brett Sikes, Buddy Sikes, Bill Mount, Jimmy Bozeman, Roger Groomes, Randy Houlton, Brad Sanders and Jud Gardner.
