James “Buddy” Hartwell Lane went home on October 19, 2017 to join his late wife, Dala Verne Lane. He was 83 years of age. Buddy was well loved and cherished by his daughter, Vicki Ferguson Brooks, 6 grandchildren, and 14 greatgrandchildren.
His love and service for his service for his country and was shown through his time in the Navy and being a volunteer with the MPD VIP’s for 12 years.
The memories and lessons bestowed will be forever remembered by those who loved him. He was a great man and will be very much missed.
