James Perry Mobley, 85, of Montgomery, passed away on February 22, 2012, after an extended illness. He served in the Marine 3rd Division during WWII in the Pacific Theatre. Mr. Mobley was preceded in death by his parents, William Perry and Jessie Margaret (Dickinson) Mobley; wife Annie Laurie (Hartin) Mobley; wife Frances Jean Mobley; sister Carrie Frances Mobley-Stallings and daughter Julia Ann Mobley-Wood. He is survived by brothers, E.B. “Buck” (Rebecca) Mobley, Chickasaw, AL and Billy Joe (Yuko) Mobley, Pensacola, FL; one son Alan Perry (Talena) Mobley, Honoraville, AL; one daughter Judy Mobley, Montgomery, AL; 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter. A visitation will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, February 27, 2012 at 9am, with a chapel funeral service at 10am, with burial to follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
