James A Parsons

James Arthur Parsons, Jr., 78, a resident of Alabaster, Alabama, passed on May 26, 2025. Jim was pre-deceased by his wife, Deborah “Deb” Parsons, his parents, James Arthur Parsons, Sr. and Geraldine Parsons, and his two sisters, Sandra Wiley and Diane Campbell. Jim’s survivors include: his sons and their families, Jeremy, Julie, Andrew and Isabella Parsons of Keller, Texas, and James and Franklin Parsons of Houston, Texas. Others to mention are his fur babies Leo and Dolly, and sibling-in-laws Tony & Debbie Rodgers, Donna & Chris Piel and Randy & Kris Rodgers. He also has many nephews and nieces whom he loved dearly.

Jim was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, then proceeded to make a career as in sales

working an extensive and long career at both John L & Associates and most recently Speedy Tires in Pelham, Alabama, and never fully retired. He treasured the many friends and clients he has met and served over the years. Most importantly, he was an advocate for all animals, especially for the many pets he had during his lifetime. All rescues held a special place in his heart.

A graveside funeral service will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Montgomery, AL on May 31, 2025. Meet at Leak Memory Chapel15 minutes prior to join the processional or follow Route 2 markers to Garden of Devotion.
