James E. Peacock

James Earl Peacock (Jimmy), age 83 went home to be with his Lord on January 30, 2011. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Herbert Peacock, his daughter Kim Peacock Metcalf and his brother Benny Peacock. He is survived by his devoted wife, Leople H. Peacock, granddaughter Kimberly Metcalf and his beloved pet Callie. He was pianist at Eastern Hills Baptist Church for the past 46 years. While he was talented in many areas, he was most proud of his gift of music. He used this gift to Glorify God through what he felt was his personal ministry. Visitation and services will be held at Eastern Hills Baptist Church on Wednesday February 2, 2011. Visitation will be from 12:00 -2:00 p.m. immediately followed by the service. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetary. The services will be officiated by Dr. Jerry Gunnells and Dr. Rick Marshall.

Pallbearers will be Fred Woolard, Paul Woolard, Harold Parrish, Hal Parrish, Charles Borden Dr. Jeff Gunnells,Howard Wells and Dr. Mickey Golden. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the General Fund of Eastern Hills Baptist Church.
