Shirley, James Grover, 90, a resident of Hope Hull, AL., passed away Saturday, March 8, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Martha A. Shirley; children, Carol (Charlie) Farr, Christine George, Cherie Scott and Pat (Pam) Shirley; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. James worked for Mutual Savings for many years and retired in 1986. Visitation will be at Leak Memory Chapel, Tuesday, March 11 at 5:00 – 7:00 pm. Funeral services will be at 1st Southern Baptist Church, Hope Hull on Wednesday, March 12th at 1:00 pm; burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
