

Walsh, James John (Jim), passed away on April 28, 2013 at his home after an extend illness. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Barbara Miller Walsh. He was proceded in death by his parents, Albert and Margaret Walsh. Mr. Walsh was born May 9, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio. He is survived by two sisters, Peggy Heidel and Barbara McMahon; one brother, Robert Walsh; sister-in-law, Janet Walsh; son, James Patrick Walsh of San Diego; daughters, Kathy Boland and Eileen Birk; grandsons, Steven, Daniel and Eddie; granddaughter, Elizabeth, all from Cincinnati. A step-son, Kenneth Miller and step-daughter, Deborah Morrow from Chicago, IL. Jim was employed for 36 years with the Louisville and Nashville railroad. Family Lines and the CSX as Manager of Industrial Development working in Chicago, Montgomery, Pittsburgh and Washington,D.C. He served his country in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific Campaign. He was an active member of Grace Episcopal Church, serving as treasurer, the vestry and in the choir. Funeral services will be held at Grace Episcopal Church on Thursday, May 2, 2013 at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grace Episcopal Church, P.O.Box 640096 Pike Road, Pike Road, AL. 36064 or to Montgomery Hospice or any other organization you choose. The family will receive friends in the parish hall after the services.
