Travis was proceeded in death by his wife Frances A. Goodwin Burgans; and his parents, Berman Burgans and Louvert Edwards and his son Travis Lee Burgans.
Travis is survived by his children John Cleveland Burgans, Mary Ruth Burgans Hinton and Christine Patricia Burgans Flowers. He has four bonus children, Tommie Jean Cook Black of Athens, Ga, Francine Eugene Cook Moats, Milledgeville, Georgia, Georgia Etta Cook Swinning, of Ramer, Alabama and Robert Kyle Taylor, Lagrange, Georgia.
He has 22 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, and 3 great- great grandchildren. This includes biological and bonus children. All he considered family.
