Cole, John Douglas, “Doug”, 78, a resident of Hope Hull, passed away Friday, May 9,2014. Visitation will be held Tuesday, May 13, 2013 from 5 PM until 7 PM at Leak-Memory Chapel in Montgomery, AL. Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 10 AM at Leak-Memory Chapel in Montgomery, AL with Reverend Michael Rippy officiating. Burial will follow at 3 PM at Sunrise Memorial Park in Greenville, AL. Mr. Cole was born July 13, 1935 in Forest Home, AL. He was proceeded in death by his father James Conrade Cole, mother Gladys Thompson Cole, and brother Winston Cole. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Ivenell Dennis Cole, one son John Cole (Jennifer) of Hope Hull, one daughter Vickie Cole (Craig) of Prattville, four granddaughters Sara Jo Cole and Madison Jane Cole of Hope Hull, Sarah Lynell Baxley and Rachel Elizabeth Baxley of Prattville, and one sister Jean Carter of Greenville.
