John G. Vance, 92, (Lt. Col., Ret. USAF), passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2013. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 from 1:00pm – 2:00pm at White Chapel Greenwood Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial with military honors will follow the services in Greenwood Cemetery. Lt. Col. Vance was preceded in death by his son, Mike Vance. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Bruna Vance; daughters, Tanna Gary, Brenda Gary and Eleonore Orgish; nine grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
