Mr. Wilson was a member of Heritage Baptist Church as well as the Alcazar Temple and Oak Park Lodge. He was an Army veteran who served in the Korean War in 1950.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Allane Wilson; parents, John and Osie Wilson; brothers, Charles, Frankie, James, and Tom Wilson; sister, Betty Huff; and stepdaughter, Catherine Poole.
Survivors include his sister, Merle Pope; stepson, Bill Oats; six grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and his special friend, Betty W. Stephens.
Visitation will be held from 11-12:45 PM, Tuesday, October 20, 2015 at Leak Memory Chapel. The graveside service will follow at 1:00 PM in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery with Rev. John Gains officiating. Leak Memory is directing.
