GRIER, Johnny Lee, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, January 20, 2020. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 25, at 1 pm at New Home Baptist Church, with Rev. Eric Sutton celebrating his life and new life. Mr. Grier is survived by his two sisters Mrs. Carolyn Law and Mrs. Debbie Englehart (Mark), and sisters-in-law Mrs. Shirley Grier and Mrs. Victoria Grier.
Mr. Grier was preceded in death by his parents, Ruben Vaughn Grier and Dorothy Verna Grier. He shared the same birthday with his beloved mother. Mr. Grier was also preceded in death by his brothers James R. Grier, Edwin S. Grier, and Bobby J. Grier, his sister Betty Grier Mustin, and his brothers-in-law Joseph Q. Mustin and Raiford W. “Bill” Law. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to New Home Baptist Church, 5130 Elmore Road, Wetumpka, AL 36092. Pallbearers will be his nephews Randy Mustin, Walt Mustin, Wayne Law, Ray Law, David Grier, and Michael Grier.
