She was a follower of Jesus Christ and a faithful member of Taylor Road Baptist Church.
She served as a Baptist Hospital Volunteer for 20 years and devoted her life to the care of her family.
Mrs. Watson was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, William E. Watson, and her Father, Mother, Brother, and six Sisters.
She is survived by her son, John L. Watson of Atlanta, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Leigh Watson of Columbia, South Carolina; and two grandsons, William Watson and Forbes Watson.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 at 11:00 am at Leak Memory Chapel, with Visitation an hour prior to the service.
