She is survived by her son Scott Welch; and her grandchildren Braden Welch, Dawson Welch and Kalyn Welch.
She was a longtime member of Capitol Heights Baptist Church and a current member of Heritage Baptist Church. After 40 plus years of service she retired from the Alabama Licensing Board of General Contractors.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Heritage Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 with visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at New Harmony Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation.
