Katie Formby Owens, 86, passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019. A private family service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Saturday, November 9, 2019. Mrs. Owens is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband of 61 years, Dan Austin Owens. Mrs. Owens is survived by her children; son, Mark Steven Owens (Judith); son, Bruce Alan Owens (Carol); daughter, Julie Owens Pugh (Brad); grandchildren, David Alexander Owens, Tiffany Lei Owens, Tristan Taylor Fischetti (Paul), Austin Jarrett Pugh, and six great grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Association for Frontotemporal Degeneration or The American Cancer Society.
