

Harold was born January 17, 1944 in Montgomery, Alabama. He attended Montgomery First Assembly of God on Bell Road where he enjoyed serving others. He was a master carpenter, skilled in all forms of woodworking. Preceded in death by his parents, Mack and Macel Nixon; sister, Tonnie Edwards; brothers, Jerry and Ray Nixon; grandson, Kenneth Harold Nixon, III. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Lucille (Jordan); sister, Alma Basa; brother, Mack Jr. Nixon and his wife Sarah; son, Kenneth Harold Nixon, Jr. and his wife Tina; grandchildren, Alyssa Styba and her husband Anthony, and Kory Nixon; great-grandson, Mark Kasen; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. The family would like to say a heartfelt thank you for all the cards, visits, phone calls, and especially the prayers.
A friends and family visitation for Harold will be held Friday, January 3, 2025 at 10:00am at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a celebration of life chapel service at 11:00am. Burial will follow at Bethleham Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lapine, Alabama.
