To Trisha she was known as Nannie:
"Nannie touched so many people in her lifetime and left a great impact on her family. She loved the Lord with all her heart and tried to be faithful, a true woman of God. She loved Psalm 23 because of the comfort it brought during her last days. Whenever Nannie heard "I Saw the Light," it brought a smile to her face. She even bought boots for her great grandsons so they could stomp out the rhythm of “I Saw the Light.” But she would tell you “Amazing Grace” was her favorite.
She was able to leave a message of comfort for her great grandson, Preston, a message a few days before she passed. Her words were a great encouragement to this soldier stationed overseas with his family.
Sis Shockley is her only surviving sibling and Nannie was even able to send her a birthday card to celebrate her 90th. They talked every evening at 7:00 PM."
A visitation for Pat will be held Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10:00 AM in White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home which will be followed by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 AM. A committal will come after the service in Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens.
