Lillian Rucker Hackney,died at Capitol Hill Health Care, Montgomery, AL on Friday, November 23, 2012. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Henry and Georgia Elizabeth Richardson Hackney, Sr.; a sister, Elizabeth Richardson; a brother, William H. Hackney, Jr., two nephews William H. Hackney,III and Stephen H. Hackney. She is survived by one nephew, Dr. John R. Garrett and several great nieces and nephews. Miss Hackney was a long time employee of The Mutual Life Insurance Company. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Montgomery, AL. where her love was working in the nursery. A graveside service will be held in Greenwood Cemetery, Montgomery, AL. on Monday, November 26, 2012 at 11:30 am. with Dr. Jay Wolf officating. Visitation will be one hour prior at Leak Memory Chapel .Memorials can be made to the Elder Care Fund of the Baptist Foundation of Alabama in her memory.
