Lillie Putnal Wadsworth

Lillie Putnal Wadsworth, 91, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama died March 24, 2026, at her home. Mrs. Wadsworth was born July 14, 1934, in Mayo, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Zebblin H. Putnal and Pearl Jackson Putnal and brothers, Joedy Putnal and Carl Putnal.

She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Wadsworth; sister, Louise Bell: daughter, Cindy Hart of Montgomery; sons, Clynt (Susan) Hart of Montgomery; Craig (Randy) Hart of Rock Hill, SC; grandchildren, Patrick Heflin of Montgomery, Elizabeth (Thomas) West of Nashville, TN, Katherine Hart of Homewood, AL, Ethan Hart of Columbia, SC, Avery Hart, of Rock Hill, SC, Colin Hart, of San Diego, CA and great grandchildren, Perry Elizabeth and Shepherd Thomas West of Nashville, TN.

Mrs. Wadsworth was a member of First Baptist Church Montgomery and loved the faithful members of her Steppingstone Sunday School class. She was also retired from Sears after many years. She loved being a homemaker along with cooking, gardening and living on the lake.

A visitation will be held Monday, March 30, 2026, from 11am-12pm at Leak Memory Chapel, with Graveside Service officiated by Dr. Thomas West at 12pm at Greenwood Cemetery with a reception to follow at Leak Memory Chapel.
