Louie Wayne Graydon

Louie Wayne Graydon, passed away on March 20, 2022 at the age of 84. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 57 years, Judy Griggers Graydon; his parents Venson Graydon and Myrtle Jimmie Petty Jones; He is survived by his children, Lori Adams (Ricky), Michael Graydon (Monica); grandchildren, Graydon Lamberth, Meredith Taunton (Stephen), Emily Graydon, Will Graydon; great grandchildren, Esther Taunton, Jon Chapel Taunton, Anne Taunton; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Wayne graduated from Robert E. Lee in 1956 and attended Auburn University where he played baseball and later signed with the St. Louis Cardinals organization. He spent 38 years in the banking industry with Regions Bank and Aliant Bank. Graduated from the LSU School of Banking. He also served in the Alabama National Guard from 1956-1965.

The family will accept flowers but you are welcome to make memorial donations to Baptist Hospice.

Visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Thursday March 24th at 2:00 pm with a Graveside service to follow at Greenwood Cemetery at 3:00pm.
