Lucy Lee Cobb Strong

She was born May 12, 1922, in Hattiesburg, MS. She moved to Montgomery at age 19 and married the love of her life, Bill Strong January 31, 1942. Her life revolved around her husband and their five children. Lucy was a long-term employee of Parisian department store where she worked in the ladies dress department until age 82. She was affectionately known as "Miss Lucy" by co-workers and customers alike. She charmed everyone she met with her warmth and humor. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 67 years and her daughter Pam Weil. She will be forever missed by her children, William E. (Bill) Strong III, Debbie Replogle, Beau Strong, Patricia Bryant, her 9 grandchildren and her 5 great grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, January 28, 2016 at Leak Memory Chapel with Elder Richard Dour officiating. The family will accept friends at 1:30 PM, prior to the service. Leak Memory Chapel is directing.
