Margaret Ellen Rowe, age 84 of Montgomery, AL, known for her laugh and the love of her family, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018. Margaret Rowe was born on December 11, 1933 and lived the majority of her life in Montgomery, AL. She was an Air-Force wife, so she had the pleasure of moving around this great country, experiencing many things. She married the love of her life, Ocie Rowe, on December 18, 1954 and he sadly passed away March 20, 2017. It is a strong belief that she just could not stay on this earth one more minute without him next to her side after 62 wonderful years of marriage. Margaret was an avid lover of bingo, all things slot machines, traveling with the Alabama Wondering Stars Camping Club, and truly loving and caring for her family. Mrs. Rowe was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Glasscock; sisters, Loretta King, Louise Sexton, Mary (Earl Dean) Cordell, and Dorothy Glasscock; husband, Ocie Love Rowe. Survivors include her brothers, Raymond (Peggy) Glasscock and Carl Glasscock; sons Alphies Wayne (Kathy) Rowe, John Curtis (Kim) Rowe; grandchildren Kaitlin Rowe (Edwin) Sides, Dylan Rowe, and Hunter Rowe; great granddaughter, Carlee Sides. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Friday, March 16, 2018, at Leak Memory Chapel with Rev. Dan Harrison officiating. The visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM, prior to the service. Leak Memory is directing.
